Hey Everyone!
Today I am sharing photos from our time in Rome. We absolutely loved Rome {Italy in general}, but it was our first stop in Europe, so the memories we made there are really special. We only had three nights in Rome and we had a lot to see. We got into the airport around noon and once we got to our hotel we quickly changed and headed out to check some sites off our list. We stayed at the Grand Palantino Hotel on Via Cavour, which for us was a great location. It was not very far from the termini and close to restaurants and other sites. From the hotel, we walked to the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps stopping for an espresso, panini, and a beer. We also walked to the Colosseum before heading back to the hotel for a small walking tour with our cruise group.

{Photos of my favorite church}

{We went to the top of the Rome Parliament building, which had the most incredible views of the city!}

{Took a stroll down Piazza Navona and ate some food, drank some wine, and people watched}

{Villa Borghese}

{This one is so incredible! Look at the finger indentations Bernini created in this marble}

{I found Valentino}

Rome, Italy

Shirt Lilly Pulitzer // Shorts J Crew // Shoes Converse // Bag Tory Burch // Sunglasses Ray Ban

I wore this shirt on the plane with these beach pants from Lilly Pulitzer. I always travel in beach pants  because they literally feel like pajamas. When we got to our hotel I changed into shorts and some sneakers before we headed out to explore. It was fairly hot in Rome while we were there so shorts and a lightweight top were perfect.

Dress Stem // Scarf Lilly Pulitzer  // Shoes similar here // Bag Tory Burch

This dress was probably one of the best things I packed for the trip {Last seen here}. I wore it with a scarf, but I also paired it with a jean jacket while in Paris.

This is such an easy dress that I love! Another dress that is easy to wear and pack.

The BEST thing I did for this trip was packing a portable steamer. It was cheap and about the size of a large hair dryer. I put it in Shane's luggage and packed around it easily. We used a converter for it while in Europe and had no problems. We both used it for almost all our clothing and it was so nice to not be completely covered in wrinkles every day.

I love looking at all the photos! We even got a pretty cool digital photo frame to display all the photos continuously. Up next will be photos from our cruise. I have been trying to shoot a few different outfits for about a week, but the afternoon rain here in Florida will not allow it. Black skies and rain every day when I leave work. The struggle is real :(
