Hello all! 

Welcome back for a very special post with snapshots from my best friend Callie's incredible baby shower. As you can see it was a White Party theme. I love how all the photos turned out of everyone in their white looks. Of course I had to jazz up my white dress with some colorful accessories like my favorite Castaner espadrilles {similar here} and a pair of new earrings I recently bought here on Etsy. 

They set up the cutest Flower Crown Making station. It was a lot harder than you may think to create a flower crown but we all got the hang of it. Callie's was professionally made by a florist in town. 

The baby shower took place almost, exactly three years from their fabulous wedding in Ravello, Italy. Some of the party guests had not seen each other since {due to COVID} so it was incredible to all be back together. This group of people sure know how to party. Crave Culinaire catered the event and they did not disappoint. The brunch food items were delicious and they had nitro acai bowls that were out of this world. They are the top caterer in Naples and we've used them for a few of our family's parties as well. I highly recommend their services. 

I am so excited for my two best friends to become parents and join Shane and I in the parenting game! The baby's due date is one day before my own birthdate. They aren't finding out the sex of the baby so we are all DYING to know if it is a boy or a girl.

Our Couples Shower

How cute are these blocks that Michelle made?!?! They were the perfect shower decor! I believe she found the DIY instructions on Pinterest.

The absolute BEST girlfriends a girl could ever ask for. I love these ladies SOOO much! Some of them flew in from Chicago and Philadelphia just to be there and I couldn't be more grateful. 

My Dress

Last Sunday two of my amazing friends Michelle and Shea threw us a couples shower and I wanted to share some photos from the party. My MIL had asked me a few months ago what my ideal shower would be and I said a "Non-traditional couples shower" and I feel so lucky that we were able to be surrounded by our closest friends and Shane's siblings to shower Baby Smith. It was SO much fun and turned out exactly how I had envisioned.  

Baby Smith got so many incredible gifts and books. He has a whole sports collection going already with gear for the Gator's, Fighting Illini, and the Cubs. 

I finally ordered his nursery furniture and we are nailing down paint colors this week. I decided to go with Pottery Barn furniture because the set I loved had many matching pieces. I have ordered so far this crib, dresser, and nightstand. I will definitely do a nursery reveal post when everything is complete. I can't believe I am already in the third trimester and little smith will be here before we know it! Time is flying by.

Lilly Pulitzer Baby Shower!

So excited to share these photos today! They are from the cutest Lilly Pulitzer themed baby shower I went to this past weekend. She is naming her daughter Lilly as well, so that made it even better! Lilly Pulitzer baby clothes are THE cutest and I love buying them for friends that are having girls. I cannot wait to dress our daughters {if we have girls} in Lilly Pulitzer. The clothes come in the cutest prints and a "Mommy and Me" matching moment is always necessary. 

They also had the cutest cake with a monogram and a Lilly print on it! Wynns Market is a locally owned grocery store and they do the cutest cakes. They can screen print anything and the cakes taste amazing. This one was vanilla with strawberry jelly inside and it was delicious. 

Congrats to Taylor and Matt and I cannot wait to meet baby Lilly!

Hello hello! 

So last year our Lilly Pulitzer #dreamteam had a fabulous shower for Michelle {I linked the bridal shower post here} and this year we had a baby shower for Shea! It was so much fun celebrating Shea and baby Emerson. Lilly girls sure know how to throw a party and we always have a blast when we are all together outside of work. I wanted to share some of the details and pictures for you guys so I hope you enjoy this post.
