When this dress arrived in our store I knew immediately I had to have it. This dress has all the qualities that a timeless and versatile dress should have. It is a neutral color that can be paired with any other color, the dress design can be worn dressy or casual, and it's perfect for year round wear here in Florida. It is hard for me to buy a lot of cold weather clothing when I won't get a lot of wear out of it. I search for items that can be worn in multiple ways to fit the current climate. Transitioning this dress from summer to fall is as simple as adding a cashmere cardigan and a pair of flats. With our weather still in the high 80's I accessorized the dress with my favorite fringe scarf that I often use as a shawl. Lilly Pulitzer does a gold scarf almost every season so there is always a chance to get your hands on one. They make the perfect gift {the holidays are here!} and you'll find yourself pairing it with so many outfits once you own it. People always compliment me when I wear it and who doesn't love that!?!
The beach is one of my favorite places to shoot photos and luckily one of the best beaches in the country is just a few minutes down the road. It makes for an amazing background and the lighting around sunset is always perfect! It's really incredible how light can make or break a photo. There was three other photo shoots going on while we were taking these photos! Like I said, it's a popular location for photos.
