Monday always comes too soon! I am wishing the weekend wasn't over, but excited to share this fun outfit today. These printed pants are amazing and so comfortable! Lilly didn't make many printed pants the last few years, so I was happy when these came out. You can style them a million different ways, because of all the colors in the print. They also come in three other prints so you are bound to find one you love. For a reference I am wearing a Size 0, but they do stretch out quite a bit throughout the day so if you are in between sizes I would suggest sizing down. 
I die for this navy crop top {I also have in white} and I wear it all the time. For whatever reason it isn't available online, but our store has it {I am wearing a size 2}. I linked a really cute version I saw my friend wearing recently. 
I hope this post brightens up your Monday! I am looking forward to a few days off this week to get organized before our trip to Vermont for my cousin's wedding. I still don't have a dress {GASP} and have no clue what to wear. Any suggestions??? It is suppose to be in the 40's and 50's. I am so looking forward to seeing the changing leaves, eating my Grandfather's HOMEMADE {yes, homemade} maple syrup, and celebrating with my family.

Dinner At Home...

Dinner in our home is most often casual, but there are times when I want to make something extra yummy and elevate the dining experience. Earlier this week I made Basil Kale Pesto spaghetti for Shane and I. It is such an easy recipe and we always have leftovers for days. I pulled out our beautiful Prickard China to serve the dinner on. This was the china we registered for, for our wedding and I love any occasion to use it.


Basil Kale Pesto Recipe

Ingredients: 
1 cup olive oil
1 cup grate Parmesan cheese 
3 medium cloves of garlic
2 cups of fresh basil leaves
2 cups of fresh kale leaves
3 tablespoons of pine nuts
1/4 teaspoon salt
Pinch of black pepper


1. Place all the ingredients into a blender or food processor
2. Blend together until smooth


When I make this recipe I like to make it a creamy pesto. Once I make the sauce, I transfer it to a pot and put it on the stove. I add heavy cream {maybe 1/2 a cup or a bit more} and mix it together and bring the sauce to a simmer. This recipe is also great for pizza and many many more delicious food options.

Hello hello! Today I am sharing an easy and affordable transitional outfit, perfect for summer to fall. Wearing these cute booties with a printed dress allows me to get more use out of my boots here in Florida. It is hot and HUMID from all the rain here and I won't be able to wear jeans, sweaters, and boots for at least a month or two. 
I got these BP booties last winter from Nordstrom and they go with absolutely everything! They are really comfortable and not too pricey. When I buy a trendy item I do still take into account quality, because if you haven't noticed trends tend to recycle {like flared jeans, didn't see that one coming}. I tend to keep my clothes for a really long time exactly for that reason.  
The Nordstrom here does not have a Juniors section, so unfortunately I can only shop online. Sometimes fit can be hard to determine, but the size conversion is a great way to estimate your size. This dress is so cute and comfortable and on sale right now {I'm wearing an XS}! When I saw it I immediately bought it. I don't have anything like it in my closet right now so it will definitely be getting a lot of wear.

I love so many pieces from this newest Lilly Pulitzer delivery... Mainly all the ELEPHANTS! This is the last delivery of the Resort Fall Collection and up next will be the Resort Collection. Fall is usually my least favorite collection, but I was impressed this year. I liked a lot of the pieces released! I love that they are bringing back some old prints and reinventing older prints lately.


1. I just think this new Elsa in Pack Your Trunk is too cute! We didn't receive it at our store yet, but it is definitely on my "To Buy" list. I am normally an XS in the Elsa top.

2. The Marlowe Dress in Pack Your Trunk is amazing! I immediately bought it. I did get a size Small this time because the XS was a bit tight in my arms. It is 100% cotton so I plan on washing it and drying it a few times until it is perfect. This dress reminds me so much of the Cassie Dress in Tusk in Sun. I do not own that dress so I am so happy I was able to get this one.

3. This delivery I love the Elsa tops so much. Especially this one in Southern Charm. It is a re-coloring of the original print from Spring 2014. I have the Eaton Shift in Southern Charm and it is one of my favorite dresses I own! We styled it at our store with the Tropical Pink Callahan Short, and it was so perfect together. If you weren't able to get anything in Southern Charm I definitely recommend you checking out this Elsa!

4. The cashmere wraps that Lilly Pulitzer creates are my favorite! I have 3 {black, pink, and blue} and I still need more! This Ellis Wrap in Limoncello is to die for. I wear my wraps with everything and they are the BEST thing to wear during travel. They are also O/S, which makes picking your size easy.

5. I tried on this Addison Maxi Dress in Private Island and loved it! I don't have an occasion to wear it coming up so I didn't buy it, but it is beautiful. The fit of the dress is incredible, I hope they do more Addison Maxi Dresses in the next deliveries. I wore an XS in this dress.

6. We did not receive this dress in our store yet, but the Dusk Dress style is one I have purchased again and again. I love how easy it is to wear and I am excited to buy this dress once it finally does make it to our store. I usually take an XS in this style of dress.

7. The Ashby Tunic Dress in Tipsy Tusks did not make it to our store yet either! I am hoping it is as cute as the photo because I really want it. How about that print name too?! So freaking cute.

8. This Captain Popover in Pack Your Trunk is so cute! I would wear it with white beach pants or with a pair of white or pink Callahan shorts for a casual look. I also love the gold buttons instead of a zipper.

9. I included this solid Elsa top because owning a few in solid colors is definitely necessary. They can be worn so many different ways. They always make a pair of shorts more elevated, but I wear them all year round, especially during the colder months with jeans and riding boots. They look great with a vest over them too!

10. I love this Rossmore Dress in Indigo Zebron. It is SO soft and comfortable. I see myself wearing it for Gator Gamedays with orange accessories and my cowboy boots or sandals. It also looks great with a scarf especially this gold Lilly Pulitzer Murfee I already own. I would take an XS in this dress.

11. I LOVE these shorts! Thank you Lilly for bringing us back some elephant printed callahans! I bought these so quickly and I have already worn them a few times. I got a 00, which is my normal size in these shorts. They look great with a tank top or with a pink or navy Elsa. These are now among some of my favorite callahans.

Current Haircare Essentials

Hello and Happy Labor Day! I hope everyone had a nice, long weekend. We went boating on Sunday and it was absolutely gorgeous outside. We had a cook out at my in laws and it was a gorgeous night out as well. I cannot believe it is already Labor day. Time is just flying by! 
Today I am sharing some of my favorite hair products that are currently in my daily routine. The first products I have talked about before and that is the Living Proof Full Shampoo and Conditioner. You can see that post here! I love this shampoo/conditioner. It was recommended to be by a friend and it was a great recommendation! 
I constantly blow dry and curl my hair so this Tresemme Heat Tamer Spray is a MUST have for me. I always use it after washing my hair. This product does exactly what it says and I love the smell. It is also a great price and you can find it at your local drugstore. I spray it liberally all over my hair. 
I had never tried the It's A 10 Miracle Leave-In Conditioner until recently and I have really loved it. I spray it mostly on my ends but a little bit throughout my hair. My hair is so fine and thin that I need some product in my hair to give it texture and make it easier to style. You definitely have to be careful and not spray too much, because then your hair will turn out greasy. 
I also use Organix Moroccan Weightless Dry Oil Spray  in combination with the leave in conditioner while my hair is still wet. Then I blow dry it in sections with a flat brush. I usually keep my hair straight the first day, then curl it once or twice before I wash it again a few days later. That is why dry shampoo is my lifesaver. It is a miracle product!

Hello, hello! Today I am sharing the outfit I wish I was wearing this weekend to the Gator Football game :(. I would love to be going, but we aren't. Although, we are planning for a game later in the season. The first year I wasn't in Gainesville after graduating was so sad. It was very weird not being there after so many years. Gameday atmosphere is like nothing else and The Swamp never disappoints!
As soon as this romper came into the store I had to have it! I knew it would be comfortable and perfect for a HOT Gameday. Heat in The Swamp can be brutal this time of year and wearing something like this is ideal. Obviously, I would pair it with my Tony Lama cowboy boots {Shane got me as a present years ago}. I love these things so much and I very rarely get opportunities to wear them anymore. I got a lot more use out of them while living in Gainesville. My Momma has a pair of Tony Lama cowboy boots from over 10 years ago and she still wears them!
