Honeymoon Details

Hey everyone! Thanks for stopping by today :) I decided to do a quick post on our honeymoon{s}. I have been so excited about our upcoming trip I didn't want to blog about it and jinx anything. Since the trip is less than a month away I figured I would go ahead.

So right after our wedding in March we went on a short Norwegian Cruise to the Bahamas. It was so relaxing and the perfect thing to do after all the stress of the wedding. When we were planning our honeymoon I really wanted to go to the French Polynesian Islands. Unfortunately their rainy season lasts until early May. After talking to a travel agent about it and looking at hotels we decided to go ahead and go to Tahiti, Moorea, and Bora Bora in June.

It is definitely hard to contain my excitement about this trip! I have been preparing my wardrobe for months! Even scoring this dress on Ebay for the trip.

We leave for Tahiti on June 8 and fly from Miami to LA then LA to Tahiti. The first place we are staying is the beautiful Intercontinental Resort.

Tahiti is one of the larger islands which means there will be a TON of fun activities to do there. We plan on doing a lot of boating, fishing, and possibly hiking ;).  We are staying in one of those awesome over water bungalows. After Tahiti we get on a small plane and puddle jump to Moorea. Here we will be staying at the Hilton Moorea.

Here we are actually staying on the island in a beach bungalow. I thought it would be nice to change it up since we are also staying in an overwater bungalow in Bora Bora. Moorea is a little smaller than Tahiti but this hotel has a lot of activities that I am excited about as well. It is just insanely beautiful!

The last part of the trip we will be staying at the Four Seasons in Bora Bora. I am probably most excited about this. My idea of a perfect vacation is just sitting on the beach all day reading a book. Bora Bora is more secluded than the other islands so we will be doing a lot of swimming and tanning. I could do that for the whole 13 nights but Shane likes to be active. So this last part of the trip will be very relaxing after exploring the other islands.

I am looking forward to spending time with Shane vacationing. Shane an I both share "quality time" as a love language and it is very important that we get alone time often.

I hope y'all enjoyed this post. If you have any questions for me leave them below :)

xo, Alina
