Summer Days in Paris

Bonjour! Today I am sharing {the many} photos from our time in Paris, France! I had to split it up though, because this post would have had too many photos. Pictures from our day trip to Versailles will be up later this week. We were lucky enough to spend four nights in Paris and I really felt like we were able to see all the sites we wanted in that period of time. Our first night we arrived in the city at about 5:00pm. We got to our hotel and changed, then headed out for drinks and dinner. We wandered into the restaurant Minipalais right next to our hotel and it was the perfect spot for our first dinner.

The next day we headed to the Louvre Museum and started our tour. I had not been able to visit the Louvre on my last visit to Paris so I was very excited to see it for the first time. It was definitely one of my favorite museums from the trip! It was very crowded, so I would highly suggest booking your tickets ahead of time like we did.

There she is! The Mona Lisa.

This photo below was my favorite! It is from the crowning of Napoleon and it was huge! There is also another version of this picture at Versailles.

We ate at this place twice in one day it was so good! Those little white things are sweet goat cheese balls and they were out of this world! It was the cutest little boat restaurant right on the Seine River.

They have taken down the original lock bridge, but there are still a few places in the city close to Notre Dame that you can attach one to.

Notre Dame cathedral was so beautiful! I was mesmerized by all the incredible stained glass.

Not far from Notre Dame is also the World War II memorial. It is underground and you have to find the little stairwell down to it. Because it was underground it was very cool. It was nice to beat the city heat for a moment and take in the memorial.

We did a really amazing tour through Viator that took us on a bus tour throughout the city, then a Seine River cruise, and finished at the Eiffel Tour just as it started to light up for the night. It was incredible!

Our hotel. We stayed at the La Maison Champs Elysees Paris Hotel and we loved it. The location was perfect and we had a great view of the Eiffel Tower from our room.

These pictures are from the view at the top of the Arc de Triomphe. I would highly recommend going to the top. Our travel agent was able to reserve us tickets ahead of time and we completely skipped the ticket line. There is quite a few stairs up to the top so get ready for that!

We walked to Luxembourg Gardens and it was so pleasant! It was the perfect place to sun yourself and read a great book.

I wore this black, stretchy dress twice while we were there. It was so easy to wear and I could add any jacket I wanted to change it up a bit. I got a lot of questions on my Instagram about the jacket I am wearing below. You can find it here and I absolutely love it! I also wore it to Versailles Palace. I plan on wearing it a ton this Fall and Winter.

I wore this dress a ton on our entire vacation! You can see how I styled it in this post here

Paris was so much fun for us. The history is amazing and the architecture is like unlike anywhere else. It was totally different from Rome and other cities we visited, but we enjoyed our time immensely. We loved being able to explore and walk everywhere and of course the food and champagne! I cannot wait to share our photos from Versailles Palace later this week. It was such a great trip we loved it. I hope everyone has a great Monday!

Thanks for reading.
